- We are recruiting for a Technician to join our team.
The post holder will work as part of the technical team providing technical support for a range of events taking place in Rich Mix. They will be responsible for the set up, operation and maintenance of lighting, sound and AV equipment and will provide practical technical assistance for visiting companies and artists.
The successful candidate will have at least 1 years’ experience as a technician in a small/mid-scale receiving house with experience in live sound operation. They will need a working knowledge of stage lighting/electrics and sound systems/equipment.

Rich Mix cultural foundation is looking for its next Chief Executive.
We are a charity and social enterprise, running an extensive arts programme of over 600 events each year. Our mission is to widen access to the arts to reach all the diverse communities in East London featuring a diverse range of performers and seeking to reach a very diverse audience. As part of our social enterprise business model, we earn over 80% of our costs, through tenanted workspaces, a conference and events business, and our three screen cinema offering mainstream and arts related product. We are part of Arts Council England’s National Portfolio.
As we mark our 10th anniversary, the organisation is now ready to move forward with a new Chief Executive who will work with the Board to deliver a challenging agenda to develop the organisation. The post will support the artistic leadership of the organisation, and will require excellent stakeholder management; business and strategic skills; and a strong commitment and experience of working with diverse communities.

We are offering a salary of £60,000 per annum, and are willing to discuss flexible working patterns.
