Celebrity and Award-Winning Hairstylist, Dionne Smith is an international phenomenon sought after by the likes of Nollywood star Genevieve Nnaji, publications such as OK! Magazine, Blackhair Magazine, Black Beauty Magazine and hair brands like Dark and Lovely, Organic Roots Stimulator and Sleek.
Unlike your average stylist, Dionne works her magic on weaves, natural hair, wigs, and precise cuts; she does it all. Her portfolio reflects her ability to work with all types of hair. For Dionne, Education and Artistic approach has always been the foundation of her passion.
After 17 years in the industry Dionne has gained a wide range of clientele, from working mothers to celebrities such as Naomi Campbell and companies such as Bassbuds. She has her own double-page spread in Britain’s Leading Hair Magazine – Blackhair Magazine called “Dionne Smith’s Style Desire” where she demonstrates ways to create different celebrity hairstyles. She is also a columnist for OK! Magazine (Nigeria) in which she documents her work life as a celebrity hairdresser.
In addition to tending to the tresses of celebrities Dionne works as a Technician for the Elite UK Team for the USA Commercial Hair Product Brand Design Essentials that has now Launched in the UK. She is often educating hairstylists and consumers on the use of the full product range.
Dionne is also an Ambassodor for Culformers by Hair Flair a USA Commerical brand that has also launched in the uk. She travels around Europe teaching and demonstrating the use of Curlformers.
