CNN.com International seeks an intern to work in the Digital Features/Special Projects department.
The paid three-month internship will be based at CNN’s bureau in central London. We are looking for two interns. One intern will start on Thu 1st Oct 2015 and another will start on Mon 4th Jan 2016.
Interns play an important role in the daily operations of CNN.com. Primary responsibilities include research, fact-checking and providing production and administrative support.
You will participate in editorial meetings and learn how an award-winning online news website operates. Opportunities to write and conduct interviews will be available, depending on ability.
Successful candidates will be detail-oriented, digital savvy and have a love for all things web as well as a good nose for a story and strong multimedia skills. Excellent research and writing skills are also required.
This internship is well suited for someone who has recently graduated from a Masters in Online Journalism and is interested in pursuing a career in digital journalism. Some of our past interns have gone on to work or freelance with CNN.
The internship is paid at minimum wage, eight hours a day for a five-day week.
